Abstract

The authors have analyzed the outcomes of hemorrhagic fever with a renal syndrome (HFRS) in 66 patients who underwent hemodialysis due to severe kidneys damage. The researchers have established a possibility of chronic renal disease development in HFRS reconvalescents, which raises a question of nephrologist supervision necessity of patients who suffered a severe renal damage of hantavirus etiology, with nephroprotection measures.
